The following describes how Pihl Bang IVS collects and processes information about you. The personal data policy applies to personal information submitted in connection with a purchase, inquiries, or other forms of information collected via Pihl Bang's website, .

Your personal data is processed for the following purposes:

      • To be able to fulfill the agreement on the delivery of the ordered products, as well as to be able to manage your rights to return and advertise.

      • To be able to contact you regarding relevant information about the product you have purchased. Information relating to your purchases is also processed to comply with legal requirements, any legal requirements that may arise, bookkeeping and accounting.

      • At, your IP address is collected with the aim of preventing fraud. It is also used for surveys, statistics and analyzes to optimize the user experience and Pihlbang's function, as well as carry out targeted marketing, including retargeting via e.g. Facebook and Google. This processing of information is necessary so that we can improve and show you relevant offers.

    Provision of personal data may be necessary in connection with the purchase of products and other services. We will not be able to offer these to you unless you provide us with the required information.

    3. On what basis is your personal data processed

    Our processing of your personal data is based on a legal basis. Your personal data may be processed on the following basis:

        • Your express consent.

        • The processing is necessary to fulfill a contract to which you are a party or for the purpose of carrying out measures taken at your request prior to the conclusion of a contract. It can, for example, be when you shop on the website.

        • The processing is necessary to fulfill a legal obligation incumbent on Pihl Bang, e.g. storage of transaction information in accordance with the Accounting Act.

        • The processing is necessary for Pihl Bang or a third party to pursue a legitimate interest. Legitimate interests can be: Continuous improvement of products, services, shopping experience and technologies. To target our social media marketing and communications with you in accordance with your preferences.

    4. With whom your information is shared

    We may share information about you with:

        • Our business partners, e.g. delivery information for carriers responsible for the delivery of the purchased goods to you. It may be business partners for the provision of IT services (data processors) who process information on our behalf. We use external partners for, among other things, technical operation of systems and improvements to Pihl Bang, including targeted marketing. These companies process data for which we are the data controller.

        • Public authorities, if required by law.

        • Warning registers that identify risky transactions with the aim of combating (organized) online fraud.

    5. When do we transfer personal data to countries outside the EU/EEA

    Your personal data may be processed by data processors located outside the EU/EEA.

    Some of these data processors, e.g. Google Analytics, Facebook and Mailchimp are established in the USA. The necessary guarantees for the transfer of information to the USA are secured through the data processor's certification under the EU-US Privacy Shield, cf. EU Personal Data Regulation art. 45. To the extent that we use data processors other than those mentioned, which are established outside the EU, this will always be done in compliance with valid transfer guarantees.

    6. How long your information is stored

    Pihl Bang continuously deletes information about inactive customers, and only stores your information as long as it is necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was originally collected.

    Transaction information is stored for 6 years, as a result of the Accounting Act.

    7. What security measures have we taken

    At Pihl Bang, we do our best to take good care of your personal data.

    We secure your personal data through both technical and organizational security measures, with the aim of protecting your data against unauthorized access, manipulation, destruction/deletion or loss of data.

    8. What rights you have

    As a registered customer at Pihl Bang, you have the right to exercise the following rights:

        • Insight and correction of your information on

        • Deletion upon request

        • Data portability, ie. that, upon request, you can obtain the information you have submitted to Pihl Bang in a structured, common and machine-readable format.

        • Option to withdraw your consent.

    As a customer of Pihl Bang, you have the right to view and correct your information at any time, as well as the option to withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data. You can request to have your personal data deleted at Pihl Bang at any time. Your information will be deleted at your request if one of the following criteria applies;

        • You withdraw your consent (if your consent formed the basis for the processing),
          and the information proves to be incorrect, or is no longer necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected.

    The exercise of your rights may be subject to conditions and restrictions, and will largely depend on the specific processing situation. If you believe that Pihl Bang is processing your personal data illegally, you have the option of filing a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Authority.
